Andrew Schenck, an English writing instructor at Kansas International School, has been making significant strides in his academic and professional journey this semester. His recent accomplishments reflect his dedication to advancing the field of English as a Foreign Language (EFL), especially within Confucian educational settings. His latest scholarly contribution is a book chapter titled What Would Confucius Do? A Study of Cultural Factors Impacting the Use of AI in Confucian EFL Contexts, which explores the intersection of culture and technology in language education.

On October 19, 2024, he served as a keynote speaker at the Innovation in Confucian EFL Contexts: Ensuring a Sustainable Future with Technology conference, where he emphasized the role of technology in promoting sustainable education and discussed innovative approaches that support language learning in Confucian-influenced environments. His presentation received positive feedback from educators and researchers alike, demonstrating his ability to engage and inspire an international audience.
