堪萨斯国际学院将在2024年11月1举办由富特海斯州立大学教师Henrick James Borger和Damien Shuck带来的题为“最佳表现与心理健康技巧”的讲座，诚邀广大同学、教职工参加。

Kansas International School will hold a lecture " Peak Performance and Mental Health Techniques "given by Fort Hays State University teachers Henrick James Borger and Damien Shuck on November 1, students and faculty members are cordially invited to attend.

讲座主题：1.如何提升你在学校的表现，如何进行体育活动。

2.如何减轻压力和焦虑。

3.如何全面提升你的心理健康。

4.如何提升自我控制能力。
本讲座旨在为学生提供一套帮助他们提高工作效率、应对压力和焦虑基本策略。两位教师将介绍呼吸技巧、正念技巧以及基本的心理健康建议，帮助学生改善情绪状态，达到最佳表现水平。

 

Topic:

1. Improve your performance in school and sports.
2. Reduce stress and anxiety.
3. Improve your overall mental health.
4. Improve your control over yourself.

This lecture focuses on giving students a basic toolkit to help them improve their productivity and deal with stress and anxiety. Our presenters will cover breathing techniques, mindfulness techniques, and basic mental health tips to help students improve their emotional state and be able to perform at their peak level. 

主讲人：富特海斯州立大学教师Henrick James Borger及Damien Shuck

Speaker: Henrick James Borger and Damien Shuck

Henrick James Borger是一位来自美国纽约州的国际教育家。他毕业于纽约州立大学石溪分校，获得理论语言学学士学位，并从麻省大学波士顿分校获得应用语言学硕士学位。目前，他还在富特海斯州立大学攻读人类健康与表现理学硕士。Henrick喜欢音乐、阅读、科幻小说，并热衷于锻炼身体。他的爱好包括黑色文学、科学和奇幻小说、健康与保健，以及企鹅。他还擅长弹奏低音吉他。

Henrick James Borger is an international educator from the state of New York in the USA.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Theoretical linguistics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a master’s in applied linguistics from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.  He is currently also pursuing an MSc. in Human Health and Performance at Fort Hays State University.  Henrick enjoys music, reading, science fiction and exercising. His passions include noir, science, and fantasy fiction, health and wellness, and penguins.  He also plays a mean bass guitar. 

Damien Shuck是富特海斯州立大学商务英语教师。他曾在沈阳的东北大学、辽宁大学和重庆的西南大学担任教授。他在南缅因州大学获得了“石岸计划”颁发的创意写作和诗歌艺术硕士学位。他的第一本诗集《溺水室》获得了新美国诗歌奖。他是一位公众演说家，同时也是一位教师培训师。

Damien Shuck is a Business English Instructor at Fort Hays State University. He has previously been a professor at Dongbei Daxue in Shenyang, Liaoning， and at Xinan Daxue in Chongqing. He received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative writing and Poetry from the Stonecoast Program at the University of Southern Maine. His first book of poetry, “The Drowning Room” won the New American Poetry Award. He is a regular public speaker and teacher trainer.
