Background and Purpose
在全球化的今天，掌握一门或多门外语已经成为个人和职业发展的重要因素。尽管许多学生在课堂上学习了外语，但在实际应用中往往缺乏足够的实践机会。非母语脱口秀大赛作为一种创新的语言实践形式，为学生提供了一个在轻松、互动的环境中使用外语的机会。这种活动形式不仅能够提高学生的语言能力，还能增强他们的自信心和表达能力，鼓励同学们分享个人经历与感悟，增进同学间的了解与交流，共同感受时代的变迁与个人的成长。
In today's globalized world, master-ing one or more foreign languages has become an important factor in personal and professional development. Althoug-h many students learn a foreign langua-ge in the classroom, they often lack suf-ficient opportunities to practice it in r-eal life. As an innovative form of langu-age practice, the Non-Native Speaking Contest provides students with an opp-ortunity to use a foreign language in a relaxed and interactive environment. T-his form of activity not only improves s-tudents' language skills, but also enha-nces their self-confidence and expressi-on, encourages students to share their personal experiences and insights, en-hances understanding and communicat-ion among students, and shares the ch-anges of the times and personal growt-h.

（一）初赛征集
(I) Preliminary Call for Entries
1. China's Changes of Last Decade (中国近十年的变化)
2. The Most Awesome Friend Around Me (我身边最酷的青年朋友);
3. SIAS in my eyes.

要求：定题脱口秀展示
Requirements: A stand-up comedy show on a fixed topic
初赛主题：
Theme of the preliminary round:
1. 中国近十年的变化（China's Changes of Last Decade）；
2. 我身边最酷的青年朋友（The Most Awesome Friend Around Me）；
3. 我眼中的西亚斯（SIAS in my eyes）
注意事项：
Notes:
1.限定主题三选一，内容积极向上展现当代青年的精神样貌;
Choose one of the three limited the-mes and show the spirit of contempora-ry youth in a positive way.
2.选手扫码加入初赛报名微信群并填写群内报名信息收集表。选手可选择个人或组队参赛（每组内表演人数不超过两人，撰写文稿人数不超过两人，总人数不超过四人）。
The contestants will scan the code to join the WeChat group and fill in the gr-oup's registration information collection form. Players can choose to participate individually or in teams (no more than
two people in each group, no more tha-n two people to perform, no more than two people to write, the total number of no more than four people).
3.选手将包括表演视频（时长为3-5分钟左右）、脱口秀文稿（word文档）及组员基本信息（word文档，需包含姓名、书院、学号、联系电话及队内分工）的压缩包命名为“个人/团队+选手姓名/组名+书院”后发送至邮箱2335624423@qq.com。
The contestants will send a zip file c-ontaining the performance video (about 3-5 minutes long), the script of the sta-ndup comedy (word document) and the basic information of the team members (word document, which should include name, school, student number, contact phone number and the division of labor within the team) named as "Individual/ Team + contestant's name/group name + school" to the following mailboxes 2335624423@qq.com.
4.由评委筛选并打磨初赛作品，拟推选10组作品参加线下决赛。
The judges will screen and polish th-e works of the preliminary round, and 10 groups of works will be selected to participate in the offline final.
5.符合基本要求的选手均可获得活动参与证明及精美纪念奖品。
Contestants who meet the basic req-uirements will be awarded proof of part-icipation and exquisite souvenir prizes.
(二）决赛展示
(II) Final Presentation
时长为6–8分钟，将由大众评审与嘉宾评审决出一等奖一组，二等奖两组，三等奖三组；由大众评审与嘉宾评审综合评选出最佳文稿奖和最佳表演奖各一组。
The duration is 6-8 minutes, and one group of first prize, two groups of se-cond prize and three groups of third pri-ze will be decided by the public and gu-est judges; one group each of the best manuscript award and the best performance award will be selected by the pub-lic and guest judges in a comprehensiv-e mann-er.
六、注意事项 Precautions
确保活动内容的健康性、积极性和正面性，避免涉及敏感话题。加强现场秩序维护，确保活动顺利进行。提前与嘉宾沟通，确认演出内容及时间安排。关注活动反馈，及时总结经验教训，为下次活动提供参考。
Ensure that the content of the acti-vity is healthy, positive and positive, a-nd avoid touching on sensitive topics. Enhance on-site order maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the e-vent. Communicate with the guests in advance to confirm the performance co-ntent and time schedule.Pay attention to the feedback of the event and sum-marize the lessons in time to provide r-eference for the next event.

The "Non-native Language Talk Sh-ow" is not only a language feast, but al-so a platform for self-expression and e-xchange of ideas.
