“一站式”学生社区英语角第四期
2024年11月6日下午，启贤住宿书院“一站式”学生社区在B008举行“Chase the Dream Sky”为主题的英语角第四期活动。学风专员寇淑雅和部分24级新生参与本次活动，活动由易庆林主持。
On the afternoon of November 6, 2024, Qixian Residential College One-Stop Student Community held the fourth English Corner in B008 with the theme of "Chase the Dream Sky". The activity was hosted by Yi Qinglin and attended by Ms. Kou Shuya, Academic Affairs Specialist, and some of the new students of Grade 24.
活动伊始，易庆林首先对大家的到来表示热烈的欢迎，并简要介绍了本次活动的目的和意义。随后，通过一段励志的英文短片，为接下来的活动拉开了序幕。在自由讨论环节中，大家围绕梦想相关问题积极交流。紧接着，活动进入主题讨论环节。同学们被分成几个小组，每个小组围绕“我的梦想是什么”、“我如何追逐我的梦想”等话题展开讨论。有的同学讲述了自己希望成为一名医生，为社会贡献自己的力量；有的同学则梦想成为一名企业家，通过自己的努力改变世界。
At the beginning of the event, Yi Qinglin first warmly welcomed everyone and briefly introduced the purpose and significance of the event. Then, through a short inspirational English movie, it kicked off the next activities. In the free discussion session, everyone actively exchanged views on issues related to dreams. Immediately after that, the activity entered into a thematic discussion session. Students were divided into several groups and each group discussed topics such as "what is my dream" and "how do I pursue my dream". Some students told us that they wanted to become a doctor and contribute to the society, while others dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur and changing the world through their own efforts.
随后，易庆林对本次英语角活动进行了总结，对同学们的积极参与和精彩表现给予了高度评价。他鼓励大家要勇敢追逐自己的梦想，不断学习和进步。接下来，同学们纷纷上台分享自己的感受和收获。他们表示，通过参加这次英语角活动，不仅提高了自己的英语口语水平，还结识了许多志同道合的朋友。
Afterwards, Yi Qinglin summarized the English corner activity and highly praised the active participation and wonderful performance of the students. He encouraged everyone to be brave to pursue their dreams and keep learning and progressing. Next, students went on stage to share their feelings and gains. They said that by participating in this English corner activity, they not only improved their English speaking skills, but also made many like-minded friends.
此次活动不仅为我院同学们提供了一个展示自我、交流思想的平台，提高了他们的英语口语水平，更激发了他们对梦想的追求和对未来的期待。相信在未来的日子里，他们将继续怀揣梦想，勇往直前，追逐属于自己的那片梦想天空!
This activity not only provides a platform for our students to show themselves and exchange ideas, improves their English speaking level, but also inspires them to pursue their dreams and look forward to the future. It is believed that in the coming days, they will continue to harbor dreams and go forward, chasing their own piece of dream sky!
