Kansas International School held the Orientation Ceremony for the students of 2023 on September 18th on the 3rd floor of the 5th Cafeteria. The event was hosted by Mr. Fei Zheng, Director of the KIS Office.Dean Matt Schenk extended his warmest welcome to the new students at the opening ceremony. He emphasized the importance of college education and urged the new students to maintain a positive attitude towards learning, facing challenges, and cherishing this valuable opportunity. He encouraged the students to explore their potential and believed that everyone has unlimited possibilities.

随后，富特海斯州立大学教学副校长Jeni McRay上台发表讲话。她分享了丰富的教育经验，并与学生们互动交流。接下来，富特海斯州立大学ESL/EFL项目负责人Sharon Graham发表了精彩的演讲。她鼓励学生们积极参与语言学习项目，提高语言能力，为未来的学习和职业发展打下坚实基础。

Jeni McRay took the stage to deliver speech, and she shared her rich educational experience and interacted with the students. Next, Sharon Graham gave a wonderful speech. She encouraged the students to actively participate in the language learning program in order to improve their language skills and lay a solid foundation for their future studies and careers.

根据学校的日程安排，会上还播放了相关视频，如《完全学分制及精准分类培养介绍》、《安全教育》、《资助政策解读》等，并邀请了2023级学业导师上台进行自我介绍并与学生进行互动交流。

According to the school's schedule, relevant videos such as "Introduction to Full Credit System and Training", "Safety Education" and "Financial Aid Policies" were also shown at the meeting, and academic advisors of the Class of 2023 were invited to the stage for self-introduction and interact with students.

Through this Orientation Ceremony, Kansas International School has once again conveyed the motivation and support to freshmen for their academics and growth.
