近期，学院院长沈迈特博士赴启贤住宿书院走访交流双院制学生管理工作，了解学生在书院的生活和动态，转达学院在教学方面的工作进展，学院相关负责老师陪同参会。

Recently, Matt Schenk, the dean of Kansas International School, visited Qixian Residential College to exchange views on the management of students in the dual college system, to understand the life and dynamics of students in the residential college and to convey the progress of the academic college's work in the area of teaching and learning. The teachers in charge of the college accompanied the meeting.

沈迈特听取了启贤住宿书院对学院学生管理的情况介绍后，对书院协同育人的尽心尽力工作态度表示赞扬，也对书院育人导师对堪萨斯国际学院学生的殷切指导和关心表示感谢。沈迈特提出，近几年，堪萨斯国际学院学生的教学成果、学生考研、出国留学交换以及语言关通过率等方面较往年有质的飞跃，这些进步和改变离不开书院同仁的共同努力。接下来，我们将继续统一思想，凝聚力量为更好地服务学生、帮助学生成才做好必要支持工作。

After listening to a presentation on the college's student management by Qixian Residential College, Matt Schenk applauded the dedication of the residential college to collaborate and nurture people. He also expressed his appreciation for the kind guidance and care given to the students of Kansas International School by the mentors of the residential college. Matt Schenk suggested that in recent years, KIS students have made a qualitative leap from previous years in terms of teaching outcomes, student examinations, study abroad exchanges and language proficiency rates. These improvements and changes could not have been achieved without the concerted efforts of our colleagues at the residential college. Next, we will continue to unify our thoughts and gather our strengths to do the necessary support work to better serve students and help them achieve success.

The two institutions then exchanged views on the US degree study policy, student career development and key student profiles.

最后，堪萨斯国际学院党总支副书记、启贤住宿书院党总支副书记刘东伟表示将全力配合堪萨斯学院做好学生管理工作，为学生四年的大学学习生活保驾护航。

    Finally, Liu Dongwei, Party Secretary of KIS Party Branch and Qixian Residential College, said that he would fully cooperate with KIS to do a good job in managing students and escorting their four-year university study life.
